What Can You Expect in Therapy?
Healing is possible, but it is a journey that requires your active participation. You don't have to carry your burdens alone, but the most profound change often begins when you choose to lean into that support for yourself. Whether you’re processing trauma or addressing attachment wounds, therapy is a safe, collaborative space for you to heal, reconnect, and thrive.
We Are Partners in Your Healing
Therapy isn’t about me 'fixing' you; it’s about me walking alongside you. My goal is to help you explore your story, build emotional resilience, and regain a sense of peace and purpose. Together, we’ll work to understand the patterns that have kept you stuck—whether that’s anxiety, people-pleasing, or disconnection—and replace them with healthier, more sustainable ways of being.
The Process of Change
Lasting change takes time, patience, and self-compassion. It’s important to set realistic expectations: healing isn't always linear. There will be days where you feel lighter and days where the work feels challenging. Because we are often looking at difficult experiences, it is normal for the process to be overwhelming at times. Please know that this is part of the work—you are being brave by confronting these parts of yourself.
Connection is Key
At the heart of therapy is the relationship between us. For trauma-informed care to be effective, you need to feel safe, seen, and understood. The 'chemistry' you feel in our sessions is the foundation for your growth. We will prioritize your comfort so that you can feel safe letting go of fear and practicing new ways of relating to yourself and others.
You are stronger than what happened to you. If you are ready to begin, take that next step. You are worth it.
